Rue des Amandiers – Materials
For the south gable end of a 1930s HBM (social housing) building managed by the social landlord Paris Habitat, we propose an eco-brick cladding to extend the expression of the main façade. We are working with eco-bricks in different contrasts — colours, finishes and volumes — to offer a modern and expressive reading of this material. Inside, the project captures the colourful energy of the neighbouring parks, theatre and amenities to proudly display it at the heart of the home. In the kitchen and bathroom, colour becomes the standout element of the décor, creating a joyful and direct link between the city and private life. This sensory continuity transforms social housing into a bright, poetic and deeply human living space.
