Descent of the forest in the city – Limeil-Brévannes (FR)

Limeil-Brévannes is a city of 25,000 inhabitants in development and composed largely of wooded natural areas (110ha out of the 693ha of the town). The project to bring the forest down to the heart of the city is therefore part of a territorial orientation.
The main idea of the project is to create an interconnection from the “Tégéval” to the “RER A” by developing a greenway and lowering the forest massif into the historic center, via the greenway. This wooded descent will take the visitor through a living space made up of natural elements such as plants and water. Because the natural water network is one of the components of the site. The ambition is also to set up an outdoor activity area with equipment that creates encounters and interactions.
